CourseGlade

Gradebook addon

Blend quiz and assignment scores into letter grades and GPA, with CSV export.

The Gradebook addon (Pro) aggregates quiz attempts and graded assignments into per-student, per-course grades. Open it at CourseGlade → Gradebook — it has a Gradebook tab and a Settings tab.

The gradebook grid

The Gradebook tab is a table of Student, Course, Quizzes, Assignments, Final, Letter, GPA, and Status (In progress / Pass / Fail). Search by student, filter by course, and click a row to open that student’s detailed report.

Export

Click Export CSV to download the current view — columns include Student, Email, Course, Quizzes %, Assignments %, Assignments Pending, Final %, Letter, GPA, and Status.

Grade scale (Settings tab)

  • Grading scale — editable bands of Letter, Min %, and GPA. Defaults are A ≥ 90 (4.0), B ≥ 80 (3.0), C ≥ 70 (2.0), D ≥ 60 (1.0), F ≥ 0 (0.0). Use Add band to add rows; they re-sort automatically.
  • Grade calculationPass mark (%) (60), Quiz weight and Assignment weight (50/50, normalized by their sum), Count ungraded assignments as (Pending or Zero), and a Show GPA column toggle.

Who sees what

  • Admins see all courses and can export.
  • Instructors see and export only their own courses.
  • Students see their grades in the dashboard’s My Grades tab.

The student-facing grades widget currently uses a standard A–F scale, so a heavily customized admin scale may not be mirrored there. The admin gradebook and exports use your configured scale.

Where grades come from

Auto-graded quizzes score instantly; manually graded quiz questions and assignments contribute once graded. The gradebook is a read model — it never changes the underlying attempts or submissions.
