Discussions, reviews & wishlist
Course Q&A, ratings and reviews with moderation, and the student wishlist.
Three engagement features ship in the free plugin, no add-ons required. Turn the first two on globally under Settings → Course → Course Features (each is also overridable per course).
Q&A discussions
In learning mode, each lesson has a Q&A Discussion area. Students click Ask a Question, add a Question Title and optional Details, and post. Instructors answer and moderate from CourseGlade → Q&A — open a thread to Reply or Delete it. (Discussions have no approve/spam queue; moderation is reply or delete.)
Reviews & ratings
Enrolled students leave a star rating and written review on the course page. Moderate them at CourseGlade → Reviews:
- Approve — publish the review
- Reject — mark it as spam
- Delete — remove it entirely
Only approved reviews count toward a course’s average rating. Turn on Review Moderation in Settings → Course to hold new reviews for approval; with it off, reviews publish immediately.
Wishlist
Logged-in students click the heart button on a course to Add to Wishlist (it toggles to Remove from Wishlist), with no page reload. They manage saved courses in the dashboard’s Wishlist tab — a built-in remarketing signal of interest that hasn’t converted yet.
Why it matters
Q&A, reviews, and wishlists lift completion and conversion without extra plugins — the engagement layer is part of the core LMS.
