WooCommerce integration
Route course sales through your existing WooCommerce store and gateways.
If you already run a WooCommerce store, you can route course sales through it instead of (or alongside) CourseGlade’s own checkout.
Enable it
Go to CourseGlade → Settings → Payments and turn on the WooCommerce card (“Route course purchases through your existing WooCommerce checkout”). A status line tells you whether WooCommerce is active, inactive (with an “Activate it” link), or required (with an “Install WooCommerce” link).
There are no API keys to enter — the integration piggybacks on the installed WooCommerce plugin.
Sync Prices
The one setting is Sync Prices — “Keep WooCommerce product prices in sync with course prices automatically.” Leave it on so a course price change updates its linked product.
How linking works
You don’t create a product by hand. When a course is bought through WooCommerce, CourseGlade creates a linked WooCommerce product automatically and:
- hides it from your shop catalog (it’s only reachable via the course)
- makes it virtual, sold individually, and price-synced to the course
- enrolls the buyer when the order completes — whether the sale came through CourseGlade’s checkout or a direct WooCommerce purchase
Order status stays in sync between CourseGlade and WooCommerce, and CourseGlade coupons apply as a cart discount.
Which checkout should I use?
| Situation | Recommendation |
|---|---|
| Courses are your only product | Built-in Stripe checkout — fewer moving parts |
| You already sell other products in WooCommerce | WooCommerce gateway — one checkout for everything |
| You need a gateway Stripe doesn’t cover | WooCommerce gateway — use any WooCommerce payment extension |
Both checkouts create the same CourseGlade orders and enrollments, so reports, earnings, and commissions work identically.
